Semillon is often referred to as the sister grape to Shiraz in the Barossa Valley. Hand picked, the crushed grapes receive skin contact for 24 hours prior to clarification and fermentation. After light French oak aging, the wine is full flavoured and dry with a fresh limey complex finish. This Semillon has classic lemon butter and straw characters with fresh acidity and lime notes. The fine grained oak nose, fresh flavours and clean lingering palate makes this wine a perfect accompaniment to seafood.
